The cascade current transformer consists of the GSWF lower stage and the GSOF upper stage. The upper and lower stages are connected by busbars. The potential connection on the high voltage side is located on the busbar. The insulation of the transformer is performed in one operation with cycloaliphatic epoxy resin prepared under vacuum (full encapsulation).

The terminal box meets the requirements of protection class IP44 (optional IP55). The primary conductor is routed centrally through the upper stage (GSOF) (not included in delivery). The current transformer is grounded on the rear of the transformer.
