DIN 42600, Part 1. Current transformers with a large housing capacity for high rating protection cores and for high currents up to 3000 A. These cores are located in the top of this transformer. A primary reconnection 1: 2 is available (up to 2 x 600 A). The secondary terminals of multiratio windings may be located in two terminal boxes.
GI 52 | 72,5 Supporting current transformers are insulated with cast resin. Primary winding and core(s) with secondary winding are encapsulated in a single operation with resin prepared under vacuum (full encapsulation). The secondary terminals are housed in a robust terminal box made of cast aluminium, which can be sealed in the case of revenue meassuring. The primary connections are either sockets fixed in cast resin, connection bolts, flat connections or cable clamps. Insulating mould material: Only cycloaliphatic epoxy resin is used as insulating mould material.
